History

The Villa was built by the Diodatis between ‘400 and ‘500; than it passed to the Cittadellas who restored it in 1852, giving the Villa a neoclassical style; in 1868 the Villa was bought by the Grabaus, that still own it.
Neoclassical frescoes and ‘800 furnitures can be seen in the rooms of the ground floor and a small chapel keeps the original frescoes from ’600/’700; the view on the gardens from inside is charming thanks to the perfect simmetry.
The grennhouse is a wonderful building from 1640 that keeps in winter all the lemon trees in their old precious pots until springtime; the Box-hedge Theatre is a perfet location for wedding civil ceremonies; the ‘800 huge english garden shows trees from all over the world, and precious ones as the quercus audleyensis and michelia figo; the italian garden is surrounded by old pots of lemon trees.
